Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This policy explains what Uniglobal Education Consultancy Pvt Ltd collects when you use UniGlobal Mock Interviews, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.
1. Who we are
UniGlobal Mock Interviews is operated by Uniglobal Education Consultancy Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”), registered at TODO: registered office address. For any privacy question or request, contact us at info@uniglobaleducon.com.
We are the data fiduciary (under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and data controller (under UK/EU GDPR, where it applies) for the data described below.
2. What we collect
Account details. Your name, email address and mobile number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier — we never receive your Google password.
Verification data. A one-time password sent to your WhatsApp number, stored only as a hash and only until it expires or is used.
Interview content. The answers you type, and — in voice mode — the text transcript of what you say. We store the questions asked, your answers, the AI's per-answer score, the mistakes it identified, and the final report including its estimated visa success probability.
Practice activity. Bookmarks, personal notes, and any interview sessions you schedule.
Payment records. If you subscribe, we store the payment identifiers issued by our payment processor, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details — those go directly to Razorpay.
Technical data. Standard server logs generated when your browser or app contacts our servers.
3. Why we collect it
To create and secure your account; to verify that a real person controls the mobile number given; to run practice interviews and produce your feedback reports; to process subscription payments; to notify you when your account is approved or your subscription changes; and to keep the service working and free from abuse.
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract (running the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security and abuse prevention), and consent (WhatsApp messages). Where the DPDP Act applies, we rely on the consent you give when creating an account.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the processors needed to run the service:
- OpenAI — your interview questions and answers are sent to OpenAI's API to generate scores and reports.
- Vapi — in voice mode, your speech is processed to produce a live transcript of the conversation.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business API) — your mobile number, to deliver verification codes and account notifications.
- Razorpay — to process subscription payments. Razorpay handles your payment instrument directly under its own privacy policy.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, to verify your identity.
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of our users.
5. International transfers
Some of the processors above operate outside India, including in the United States. Where GDPR applies, such transfers rely on the transfer mechanisms those providers maintain, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
Account details and interview history are retained while your account exists, so you can revisit past reports and track progress. Verification codes expire within minutes. Payment records are retained as long as tax and accounting law requires.
When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, interview sessions, answers, reports, notes, bookmarks and schedules. Payment records may be retained where the law requires us to keep them.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent for WhatsApp messages. Where GDPR applies, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Email info@uniglobaleducon.com from your registered address and we will respond within 30 days. Under the DPDP Act you may contact our grievance officer at info@uniglobaleducon.com.
8. Security
Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing and are never recoverable in plain text. Traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to the production database is restricted to authorised personnel. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
This service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be notified in the app or by email.
